CSEET New Syllabus 2026 (Effective from June 2026)

Simple, Clear and Accurate Guide for Students and Parents

If your child is planning to become a Company Secretary, this is important.

From June 2026, the CSEET examination structure has changed significantly. The pattern is now more structured, more serious, and more writing-oriented.

Let us understand everything clearly and simply.

What is CSEET?

CSEET is conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

It is the entrance examination for admission to the CS Executive Programme.

Any student who wants to become a Company Secretary must first clear CSEET (unless eligible for exemption).

Major Changes from June 2026

From the June 2026 session onwards:

  1. The exam is centre-based (offline).
  2. The total marks are 400.
  3. The exam is conducted over four separate days.
  4. Three papers are subjective (written answers).
  5. One paper is OMR-based (MCQ).

This means students must now practice structured answer writing. It is no longer a short MCQ-type entrance test.
